Hi there! I'm Henry Joseph-Bird, call me H.
I’m, a passionate, fun-loving photographer based in South Wales. Specialising in documentary-style wedding and event photography, I capture the real, raw moments that make your special day unforgettable.
Photography’s been with me since a young age - I never put the camera down; taking photos of family, friends, and every holiday sunset. That “first love” turned into a BA(Hons) in Film Production. From there, it took me on a big adventure, including several years photographing life on board cruise ships where I photographed studio formal nights, night club parties, event and restaurant photos as well as romantic engagement and weddings against the backdrops of the Northern Lights, ancient cities and vast seascapes. I did pinch myself once or twice.
What sets me apart is my relaxed, personable approach. I’m not just your photographer - I’m your storyteller, blending seamlessly into the background to capture the natural, candid moments that truly define your event. Whether it’s a joyful tear during your vows or the infectious laughter of your guests, I’m there, quietly documenting it all without ever disrupting the flow of your day.

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m exploring the beautiful landscapes of Wales with my wife and our four-legged fur-baby, Poppy. We’re big fans of hiking, wild camping, and anything that gets us outdoors - especially if it involves cycling! My favourite travel destination? Norway, hands down. From the Northern Lights to the vibrant cities, it’s a place that never ceases to inspire me.

In my spare time, my wife, our energetic boxer dog, and I head off in Wander (our 6-berth folding camper). We share a love for exploring faraway places and discovering hidden gems, whether it’s by the sea, in the mountains, or deep in the countryside.
This space is a collection of photographs from our travels—sometimes solo on my bike or out on the trails, other times together as a trio. Each journey is a chance to slow down, soak in new surroundings, and capture the moments that make wandering so worthwhile.
