Cardiff Half Marathon 2026

Cancer Research Wales

Cardiff came alive once again on Sunday, 4th October 2026, as thousands of runners took to the streets for the Cardiff Half Marathon. Starting outside Cardiff Castle, runners tackled the iconic 13.1-mile route, passing some of the city's best-known landmarks before crossing the finish line to cheers, celebrations and well-earned medals.

It was a pleasure to be back photographing the event for Cancer Research Wales, this year working alongside Tom Fears of Fears Photography. Mandy, Tom's wife, also joined us as a content creator, capturing the atmosphere, emotions and behind-the-scenes moments, so keep an eye on Cancer Research Wales' social media channels for more from the day!

A huge congratulations to everyone who took part, whether chasing a personal best, running for someone special or raising vital funds for cancer research in Wales. The determination, incredible support and community spirit are what make the Cardiff Half Marathon such a special event, and it's always a privilege to capture it through the lens.
